salut les experts,

j'ai un problème de plantage, en branchant un joystick dans n'importe
quel port usb du pc(avant arrière)

je peus brancher n' importe quoi d' autre sans problème!!!

le joystick est de saitek cyborg evo et il a déja très bien fonctionné

je suis sur xp et sp2 pentium 4 2.4 ghz hyperthreading

la manette de jeu fonctionne très bien dans un autre ordi

même en reinstallant le logiciel et une mise a jour du pilote,
rien ne fonctionne

aucun conflit dans les ports usb, et l' alimentation automatique des
ports a été désactivé.

est possible que ce soit une surcharge de pouvoir?
est ce qu un hub usb avec alimentation indépendante
pourrait régler ce problème?

Sur le site de Saitek dans les FAQs, je crois comprendre qu'il s'agit d'un problème avec le "hyperthreading" et que pour corriger, ils ont émis une nouvelle version des pilotes et du logiciel. Saitek.

J'ai déja vérifié sur le site de saitek, et essayé cette option
mais sans succès...

il mentionne que le joystick doit être branché avant le téléchargement
alors voila le problème, je ne peut le brancher sans planté

question: j'ai vu que le hyperthreading peut être désactivé
dans le bios...est ce une option que je pourrais essayé
sans contrainte pour le système???

ps:j'ai envoyé un message au support technique de saitek.

Est-ce que vous avez essayé de télécharger le pilote et le logiciel, directement du site de Saitek et de les installer par la suite?

Il s'agit de fichiers EXE, donc peut-être??

Désolé pour avoir pris si long pour te répondre...

Le service technique de saitek a trouvé le problème...

C'est très technique car même Ccleaner ne pouvait
détecter les restes du logiciel de saitek après la
désinstallation!!

il y avait des files cachés...

si tu veux je t'envoi le courriel de saitek pour tes archives..

This is a complete uninstall of all our drivers and software followed by a driver update:

· Ok, First unplug your controller, click Start>Run and type
nx -Mu -Sk
or

ny -7

(they are case sensitive - if they're not present don't worry - just carry on)
Click OK. Now go to Control Panel and run the Add/Remove Programs icon. Remove all Saitek and SST Programming Software entries in the list of programs and then go to the C:\Program Files directory and delete the Saitek folder. Restart your computer and the files will all be uninstalled.

· Now browse to your C:\Windows\Inf folder

(If you can't see an Inf folder then click Tools>Folder Options at the top of the window, then click View at the top of the window that comes up. In there click the dot next to the Show Hidden Files and Folders option and then click OK - you should now be able to open the Inf folder in the Windows directory)

Look for the OEM0.inf file. Find the highest numbered OEMXX.inf file and double click on it - a Wordpad screen will open up with information in it. You're looking for any lines that refer to Saitek (usually at the top of the window). If you don't see any such info close that window and open the next OEMXX.inf file - so if you started on, say, OEM30.inf then you'd now open OEM29.inf.

If you find any that refer to Saitek then close the window and delete that OEMXX.inf file along with its accompanying OEMXX.pnf file. Go through all of them until you have deleted any files that mention us.

· Now, next do a ‘search’ for files in Windows using the following search string: sai*.*

Once it's finished finding any files delete them - files only though, don't delete any folders.

· Next please download the latest drivers and software from our forum site. The link to this is below.

Once the web page is open, look for your product in the list on the left hand side. When you've found your product, click on the link under it to download the latest drivers. Please also go to the bottom of the page and download the latest version of the software.

· When both drivers and software are downloaded please run the driver download first before plugging the stick in (until you are asked to), when the drivers are installed then please run the software download, once this has been installed you should be ready.
